Chambal Gardens
The Chambal Gardens are located on the banks of the towards the south of the fort. The major attraction of the place is a muddy pond with a good population of the crocodiles. He pond can be crossed by a temporary suspension bridge. There are also some rare gharials or the fish eating crocodiles with thin snout.
Kota Barrage
Kota Barrage is a part of the Irrigation Canal System on the Chambal River. The place is ideal for picnics and evening strolls. Other nearby places is the Kansua temple, Bhitria Kund, Adhar Shila Budh Singh Bafna Haveli and Yatayat Park. The barrage not only control floodwater and irrigate canals but also serves as an alternative bridge in the monsoon season.
Rana Pratap Sagar Dam
Rana Pratap Sagar Dam is the second in the series of Chambal Valley Projects and completed in 1970. It is located 52 km downstream of Gandhi Sagar Dam across the river Chambal in Rajasthan. Bhainsrodhgarh is near the dam and has a 14th entry fort, which is famous, as it was never besieged by an enemy force. It occupies an idyllic location on a ridge overlooking the Chambal River and is still inhabited by the descendents of a feudal family.
