Tazia Tower
Tazia Tower is a delicate pagoda, which rises from Badal Mahal or the Cloud Palace. It is a five-tiered structure and each storey has a elegantly carved balcony. The Muslim artists built it in the shape of a Tazia and presented to their royal patron. Tazias are embellished bamboo, paper and tinsel replicas of a bier carried in procession during Muharram.
Gadsisar Lake
Gadsisar Lake is located outside the walls of the city. Maharaja Gadsi Singh built the tank making use of the natural down slope that was able to retain some water. The tank once fulfilled the town's water requirements. A wide variety of waterfowl flock here in winter.
Gyan Bhandar
Acharya Maharaj Jin Bhadra Suri founded the Gyan Bhandar or the library founded in 1500 AD. It is a small underground chamber containing some priceless ancient illustrated manuscripts belonging to as early as the 11th century AD. There are astrological charts and the Jain version of the Shroud of Turin: the Shroud of Gindhasuri, a Jain hermit and holy man who died in Ajmer on display. The idol of Parasnath made of ivory and various precious stones like emerald and crystal is kept in a small locked cabinet.
Bada Bagh
Maharaja Jai Singh II initiated the construction of the Bada Bagh but his son completed it after his death. Beyond the gardens are the royal chhatris or the cenotaphs with beautifully carved ceilings and equestrian statues of erstwhile rulers. Bada Bagh is now has number of windmills used to generate electricity.
