Ajmer - Location
Ajmer occupies the latitude 26°27' north and longitude 74°42' east in the state of Rajasthan. It is situated at a distance of 132 km from Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan. Ajmer is flaked by Jaipur and Tonk districts in the east; Pali in the west; Nagaur district in the north and Bhilwara district is in the south. There is the Anna Sagar Lake on one side and Aravallis Hills on the other of the town. The town is well connected by road and rail network with important cities in Rajasthan and neighboring states.
Ajmer - Climate
Ajmer experiences extreme climatic conditions with many variations between the seasons .the days are hot in summers while the nights are cool with maximum temperature rising up to 45ēC. The winters are pleasant with temperature ranging around 10ēC. Ajmer does not receive much of rain even during the monsoon. The best time to visit Ajmer is from October to March.
